Map overview: all marinas shown geographically, colour-coded by data basis (Current Rate / Estimate / Rough Estimate) – tap for details.
Marina detail view: amenities, VHF channel, phone number and rating feature at a glance.
Transparency instead of a black box: three clearly labelled tiers instead of a single price figure.
Every marina carries one of three labels showing what its price is based on:
All prices refer to a reference boat of about 12.5 m in high season. If you enter your own boat profile (length, beam), the app scales the price linearly by boat length – the common billing practice of "price per metre", with a minimum billable length of 6 m. This is a simplified, marina-independent conversion, not a calculation taken from that marina's own tariff table – the further your boat's length is from the reference value, the less reliable the scaled price becomes.
Even the "Current Rate" tier is a snapshot (data collected: September 2026), not an exact price confirmed live by the marina – tariffs change, especially seasonally. Please confirm directly with the marina before arrival – contact details or a booking link are included in the app where available.
An app made for crews cruising the Mediterranean – fast, clear, no clutter.
Map, table or country comparison – pick your view and filter by price and facilities (fuel, crane, shore power, wifi, restaurant and more).
Enter your boat's length and beam once – the displayed price is automatically scaled for your boat, instead of just showing a generic range.
VHF channel, phone number and booking link directly in the app, where available – no more digging through ten different websites.
Save your favourite marinas and store your boat's details once – ready again instantly for your next trip.
Star rating plus a short tip from users who've been there – optional, no name or account needed.
German, English, French, Italian and Spanish – five of Europe's most widely spoken languages, switchable in the top right.
So there are no surprises.
The displayed price is the pure berthing fee per night. Depending on the marina, extra costs may apply, for example electricity and water billed by usage, local tourist tax, shower tokens, or a deposit. These extras aren't always fully included in the prices shown – it's best to ask the marina directly.

Yes. MarinaCheck (N. Med) is free, ad-free and usable without a user account.
Depending on its label (Current Rate, Estimate (Market) or Rough Estimate), a price comes from an official tariff list, a concrete comparison value, or is a researched estimate – continuously added to and updated, but not a real-time price feed. See "How these prices are calculated" above for details.
Without your own boat profile, it's for a reference boat of about 12.5 m. With a saved profile (length, beam, draft), the price is automatically scaled for your own boat.
Yes, MarinaCheck (N. Med) is available on Google Play – download it directly via the button above.
Currently Android only. An iOS version is being considered – join the waitlist by email and I’ll reach out once it starts.
Your own marina entries, favourites and boat profile stay local on your device – there is no server and no user account. Details in the privacy policy.
Anyone sailing the Mediterranean knows the problem: berthing prices are rarely transparent and usually have to be tracked down one marina website at a time. “MarinaCheck (N. Med)” brings this information together in one place – researched, kept up to date and free to use.
The app is continuously expanded with more marinas and features. Feedback is always welcome.
